Making connections with families is an important part of the work that library staff do. Whether through a brief interaction or a relationship built over time, these connections are essential for families to see libraries as a place where they are welcome. In this five-part workshop series, participants learn strategies to engage with families and solve problems together when situations feel challenging.
Specific topics for the five sessions include:
- Perspective-taking
