Professional Development

Please note that due to the coronavirus pandemic, all BTC professional development is currently being provided online.

Brazelton Touchpoints Center offers professional development programs for individuals, organizations, and systems of care working with young children and their families. Our practice and professional development programs—informed by research and embedded in systemic change—incorporate principles of adult learning theory, behavioral change, and self-care. We offer technical assistance as well as collaborative consultations.

In addition to the intensive training and professional development programs described in the menu to the left, we also offer programs on other topics, including:

  • Strengths-based family engagement
  • Understanding children’s development and behavior
  • Strengthening partnerships with families through relationship-based practices
  • Supporting everyone’s mental health
  • Aligning organizational practices for effective family engagement

Our current professional development offerings include online courses that include both synchronous and asynchronous activities and participatory webinars of short duration.

In addition to hosting our own events, we can bring our professional development trainings to your program, organization, or community. We can provide in-person or online trainings for your specific group. We can work with you to find the right match for your professional learning needs.
