The 2018 Brazelton Touchpoints Center National Forum: Celebrate the Legacy, Empower the Future is truly unique and special as we celebrate the life and impact of Dr. T. Berry Brazelton with two exciting days of knowledge sharing and learning.

Day One, Monday, April 23, 2018

Dr. T. Berry Brazelton Symposium, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The first day of the 2018 National Forum is the Dr. T. Berry Brazelton Symposium, featuring speakers working on the frontlines of social justice:

Geoffrey Canada, President of the ground-breaking Harlem Children’s Zone, which has become a national model for empowering families and children​
Sandra Gutierrez, Founder and National Director of Abriendo Puertas / Opening Doors, the nation’s first evidence-based training program developed by and for Latino parents
Renée Boynton-Jarrett, Practicing Primary Care Pediatrician at Boston Medical Center, and Founding Director of the Vital Village Community Engagement Network which supports the development of community-based strategies to promote child well being.
Tarajean Yazzie-Mintz, Vice President for Program Initiatives at the American Indian College Fund, the nation’s largest charity supporting Native higher education

Dr. T. Berry Brazelton (1918-2018): A Celebration of the Life and Legacy, 6 p.m.

Later that evening at 6 p.m., join us for a celebration in honor of Dr. Brazelton, and his lifetime of transformational impact on children and families the world over. Join colleagues, providers, practitioners, supporters, and families from around the world for an evening of sharing memories, celebrating a legacy, and in keeping with how Dr. Brazelton would want it, much laughter and merriment!

Day Two, Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Touchpoints Site Network Professional Development Day, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Touchpoints Site Network Professional Development Day brings together Touchpoints team members and individual practitioners from across the country to engage as a learning community in knowledge sharing, networking, and supporting Touchpoints dissemination and integration.

Registration and fees include all three events on both days of the National Forum – the Brazelton Symposium (Monday, April 23, 2018), the Dr. T. Berry Brazelton: A Celebration of the Life and Legacy (Monday evening, April 23, 2018), and the Network Professional Development Day (Tuesday, April 24, 2018).

Venue and Room Rates
The 2018 National Forum will be held at the Boston Marriott Newton (2345 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton, Massachusetts, 617.969.1000), centrally located only a few miles west of downtown Boston, easily accessible from Logan International Airport by car, taxi, or rideshare, and immediately off of both the Massachusetts Turnpike and I-95.
