Bio:

Dr. Ayoub is a psychologist and nurse practitioner with over 40 years of experience in working with young children, their families, and communities. Her research and practice interests focus on consequences of early trauma and resilience on child and adult development; and on design, implementation, and evaluation of prevention/intervention systems to reduce risk and promote healing. She has championed community participatory research approaches that help bring to scale innovative prevention and intervention systems. Author of over 170 publications, Catherine has a special interest in Latinx and Native American communities. Her forensic practice includes national work with courts across the country.
