Her work at BTC is focused on the evaluation of early childhood programming, professional development for early childhood providers, supporting child wellness in indigenous communities, childcare subsidy policies, and collaborating with BTC’s Professional Development team to evaluate virtual offerings.

Emma has worked directly with young children and their families in early childhood classrooms as a Head Start teacher in Mesa, AZ, and as the Assistant Director of an Early Childhood Education Center in Boston, MA. Emma also has experience supporting advocacy initiatives in Massachusetts related to infant and early childhood mental health, trauma-informed care, family strengthening, and child welfare and juvenile justice reform.
