Bio:
Isabella joined the Brazelton Touchpoints Center as a Research Assistant in June 2024. From a young age, she has engaged with children and families globally, ranging from coaching a youth soccer team, teaching English to adolescents in Spain, and volunteering at a children’s Nutritional Rehabilitation Home in Nepal. Isabella is committed to the well-being of children, their families, and the community. She aims to advocate for and contribute to the strength of communities and families, allowing each child to thrive.
During her undergraduate studies, she had the opportunity to combine her passion for child development and public health through coursework and research positions. Isabella worked as a Research Assistant in the Brain and Early Experiences Lab where she assisted in the creation and implementation of coding schemes and manuals. Additionally, while interning with the Health Information and Quality Authority in Ireland, she assisted in the launch of the first national End-of-Life survey. Outside of her independent and academic research, Isabella mentored 3rd–5th grade students in the greater Boston area through the nonprofit organization, Strong Women, Strong Girls.
