Bio:

Julie Kim is a developmental psychologist and a researcher with expertise in early childhood development. Her broad research interests include: (1) fostering early learning and development within children’s proximal contexts (e.g., family, school, and community) with a strengths-based lens, and (2) translating research to practice for building greater equity in early learning opportunities.

Julie has extensive applied research experience, ranging from research planning (e.g., co-designing research through research-to-practice partnerships with family-facing practitioners) to data collection and analyses (e.g., mixed methods).

She joined the Brazelton Touchpoints Center in 2024 as a postdoctoral research fellow.
