Bio:

Ms. Alleyne joined the Brazelton Touchpoints Center in 2006. She has over 20 years of experience in community building work in Boston. She has held positions in corporate philanthropy, community-based organization MYTOWN, and at MIT. Ms. Alleyne directed the National Center on Parent, Family and Community Engagement funded by the Office of Head Start (OHS) and Office of Child Care (OCC), a project operated by BTC from 2010 to 2020.

She has studied leadership development programs for community residents in urban neighborhoods. She has also explored Black and Latina mothers' perspectives of family engagement in an early childhood setting.
